The piano is a great instrument to choose if you are new to music lessons. Its linear, repeating pattern make it easy to learn the basics, and if you stick with it, the reward and sense of accomplishment is so amazing!
Try not to expect overnight results. Move at YOUR own pace and become ok with the fact that there’s always more work to do, and always more to learn! Remember…we didn’t learn how to walk in just one day!
Beginners will learn all about the notes on the piano, how to play basic chords, and how to recognize notes on the staff, with experienced students gaining more knowledge and freedom on the instrument.
