GROUP LESSONS
Individual Music Lessons | Group Music Lessons | Online Music Lessons | In-Person Music Lessons
BENEFITS OF GROUP LESSONS
Longer Lessons.
A group lesson is more economical (up to a 50% savings), and because there is more time in the classroom, it allows for additional activities and mastering concepts presented during the lesson.
Social Interaction.
Learning with your peers is always more fun! Students connect and make friends in a disciplined learning environment, and the confidence-building aspect is one that will last a lifetime.
Positive Peer Pressure.
Healthy competition can go a long way when it comes to practicing at home + being prepared for lessons the following week. Because group lessons can be more enjoyable, the motivation to not let “your team” down is present.
Less Inhibited.
Because students get the ability to perform with and in front of peers, students become more comfortable with audiences. Performance becomes more effortless (and fun) because they get to do it with friends.
Motivation.
Students (kids in particular) are naturally motivated by what they see others doing. Therefore, practicing more and trying new things is a breeze. Also, it’s a super fun social outlet for adults as well!
Theory.
Not all students are a fan of learning the mechanics of music, but in a group, theory becomes FUN via games and group activities. When things are more interesting, they become easier to remember.
